DRX9000 Decompression
The existing Neck Pain page specifically discusses non-surgical spinal decompression for selected patients with chronic neck pain and disc-related problems.
Neck Pain Care
Neck pain may involve discs, joints, muscles, nerves or a combination of factors. Modern Spine Health and Injury Care begins with an individual evaluation to help determine what may be contributing to your symptoms and which conservative care options may be appropriate.
The existing Neck Pain page prominently discusses chronic neck pain and disc-related problems. The right next step is to determine whether your presentation is actually disc-related or whether another structure may be involved.
Understanding Neck Pain
Neck pain may feel like stiffness, aching, sharp discomfort, restricted motion or symptoms that extend into the shoulder, arm or hand.
The source page for this condition focuses heavily on disc degeneration, herniation and non-surgical spinal decompression. Those may be relevant for some patients, but an evaluation is needed before assuming a disc is the source of the problem.
Major trauma, rapidly worsening weakness or numbness, loss of coordination, severe headache with neurological symptoms, fever with severe neck pain, or other emergency symptoms should be evaluated promptly.
What May Be Involved
The source page discusses disc degeneration, bulging and herniation in relation to chronic neck pain and the use of the DRX9000 in selected cases.
Painful or restricted cervical movement can contribute to neck discomfort and may be evaluated as part of a musculoskeletal examination.
Muscles and soft tissues may become irritated from posture, repetitive strain, activity or injury.
Symptoms that radiate into the shoulder, arm or hand may require evaluation for possible nerve involvement.

Neck Pain
Non-surgical spinal decompression(DRX9000) is appropriate for individuals who are over the age of 18 and have persistent or recurrent pain. If you have degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, bulging discs, or have failed back surgery syndrome, you may qualify for this treatment.
The treatments typically take between 20-30 minutes and you will have these sessions for several weeks. Depending on your progress, we may decrease these sessions as the pain or condition decreases.
If you choose non-surgical spinal decompression for your condition, you may start to feel a reduction in your symptoms and pain within the first week. A more notable change is typically felt in the second week of your care plan, depending naturally on your condition.
