Knee Pain

Non Surgical Spinal Decompression works by decompressing the injured disc of your spine, leading to a negative pressure within the disc. This technology is quite advanced because we can target the exact discs which are causing your problem.

The DRX9000.

If you are suffering with chronic lower back pain or chronic neck pain, you may benefit from a surgical alternative known as non surgical decompression therapy. Discover the DRX9000.

Over time, whether there is injury or neglect, the spinal discs in our back begin to degenerate, very similar to a garden not getting water. When this happens, the discs become weak, and can tear causing a herniation.

If these disc injuries are not corrected, continued degeneration occurs until the disc becomes arthritic leading to symptoms such as back pain, leg pain, sciatica and even neuropathy.

Non Surgical Spinal Decompression using the DRX9000 works by gently distracting these injured discs so as to allow nutrients to be brought back into the disc. Once this occurs, natural healing processes can occur.

How Decompression Works.

Non Surgical Spinal Decompression works by gently decompressing the injured disc of your spine, leading to a negative pressure within the disc. The technology is quite advanced because we can target specific discs which are causing your problem.

The DRX9000 has the capability to treat only those injured discs, leaving other discs alone.

Essentially, this negative pressure creates a vacuum like effect which reduces the herniation. The reduction of the herniation leads to a reduction in pressure off the nerve root. Once this is stabilized, your back pain or leg pain symptoms will be alleviated.

The Process.

Once your case is evaluated and treatment will begin the following steps are initiated. On your first visit you will meet each of our staff and you will be instructed on what is going to happen during treatment that day, and you will also be educated on what you should and should not be doing at home to help your recovery process.

When you start treatment on the DRX9000, you will be fitted with an upper and lower harness. Then, you will stand upright against the machine bed, while our staff slowly lowers you to a more flatten position. If you have trouble lying on your back, don’t worry. This position will be temporary as we provide a knee booster prior to treatment commencing. While on the DRX9000 the specialized computer-controlled table relaxes you. Treatment takes 20-30 minutes, and your treatment plan will be customized to your individual needs and symptoms.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Who Qualifies For Spinal Decompression?

Non-surgical spinal decompression(DRX9000) is appropriate for individuals who are over the age of 18 and have persistent or recurrent pain.  If you have degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, bulging discs, or have failed back surgery syndrome, you may qualify for this treatment.

How Long Does The Treatment Take?

The treatments typically take between 20-30 minutes and you will have these sessions for several weeks.  Depending on your progress, we may decrease these sessions as the pain or condition decreases.

When Will I See Results?

If you choose non-surgical spinal decompression for your condition, you may start to feel a reduction in your symptoms and pain within the first week.  A more notable change is typically felt in the second week of your care plan, depending naturally on your condition.

Knee Pain Care

Knee pain can make everyday movement feel harder than it should.

Pain with walking, stairs, standing, squatting or getting up from a chair can involve the joint, tendons, muscles or other surrounding tissues. Modern Spine Health and Injury Care begins with an individual evaluation to determine what may be contributing to your symptoms and which conservative care options may be appropriate.

Knee • Joint • Tendon • Soft Tissue

Start with the knee — not a copied spine protocol.

The source page is labeled “Knee Pain,” but most of its body is DRX9000 spinal-decompression content. This rebuild focuses on the knee itself and on services that may actually be relevant after evaluation.

Evaluation First The pattern of pain and examination findings help narrow down what may be involved.
Conservative Options Shockwave therapy, Class 4 laser therapy and chiropractic/musculoskeletal care may be considered when appropriate.
Individualized Plan Treatment recommendations depend on the patient rather than a one-size-fits-all knee protocol.

Understanding Knee Pain

The knee has to handle force, motion and load every day.

Knee discomfort may develop gradually or after an injury, and the symptoms can vary from stiffness and aching to sharper pain with movement or activity.

Because several structures around the knee can create similar symptoms, an examination helps determine which findings appear most relevant before deciding on a care plan.

Some knee symptoms need prompt medical evaluation.

A major injury with deformity, inability to bear weight, a very swollen or hot joint, fever, a locked knee, or another urgent concern should be evaluated promptly.

Available Care Options

Different knee problems may call for different approaches.

The original Knee Pain page is dominated by DRX9000 spinal-decompression material. This version removes that mismatch and focuses on conservative services offered by the practice that may be relevant to selected knee complaints.

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy is one of the technologies offered by the practice and may be considered for selected musculoskeletal or soft-tissue complaints when clinically appropriate.

Laser Therapy

The practice offers Class 4 laser therapy, which may be incorporated into a knee care plan when appropriate for the patient's presentation.

Chiropractic & Musculoskeletal Care

An evaluation can also consider movement, mechanics and other musculoskeletal factors that may be contributing to the patient's knee complaint.

What May Be Involved

Several structures can produce knee symptoms.

Joint Irritation & Degenerative Change

Changes within the knee joint can be associated with stiffness, aching and discomfort with weight-bearing or repeated activity.

Tendon & Soft-Tissue Irritation

Tendons and surrounding soft tissues may become irritated from overuse, repetitive loading, activity or injury.

Movement & Mechanical Stress

The way the hip, knee and lower extremity move can influence how load is distributed through the knee during daily activity.

Injury-Related Pain

Twisting, falls, sports injuries and other trauma may involve different structures, making examination important before selecting treatment.

Knee Pain FAQ

Common questions about knee pain care.

Those activities place load through the knee and can aggravate several different structures. An evaluation is needed to determine which findings are most relevant to your symptoms.
Modern Spine Health and Injury Care offers shockwave therapy. Whether it is appropriate depends on the specific diagnosis, tissue involved and examination findings.
The practice also offers Class 4 laser therapy. It may be considered when appropriate as part of an individualized conservative care plan.
There is no universal timeline. Knee pain can have different causes and individual responses vary, so a specific result or recovery time cannot be guaranteed.
