Chiropractic & Musculoskeletal Evaluation
An evaluation can help determine whether symptoms appear local to the wrist or whether the neck, arm or other structures may be contributing.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Non-surgical spinal decompression(DRX9000) is appropriate for individuals who are over the age of 18 and have persistent or recurrent pain. If you have degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, bulging discs, or have failed back surgery syndrome, you may qualify for this treatment.
The treatments typically take between 20-30 minutes and you will have these sessions for several weeks. Depending on your progress, we may decrease these sessions as the pain or condition decreases.
If you choose non-surgical spinal decompression for your condition, you may start to feel a reduction in your symptoms and pain within the first week. A more notable change is typically felt in the second week of your care plan, depending naturally on your condition.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome involves pressure on the median nerve as it passes through the wrist. Symptoms can include numbness, tingling, aching, weakness or hand discomfort. Modern Spine Health and Injury Care begins with an evaluation to determine whether your symptoms appear consistent with carpal tunnel syndrome or may have another source.
Symptoms in the hand can sometimes originate at the wrist, but they can also be related to nerves elsewhere. Evaluation matters before choosing treatment.
Understanding Carpal Tunnel
Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve becomes compressed within the carpal tunnel at the wrist. People may notice tingling, numbness, aching or weakness involving the hand and fingers.
Because similar symptoms can sometimes come from the neck, arm or other areas, a proper evaluation helps determine whether the wrist appears to be the source.
If you are developing significant hand weakness, progressive loss of sensation, sudden neurological symptoms or another urgent concern, seek prompt medical evaluation.
Symptoms & Possible Sources
Classic carpal tunnel syndrome involves pressure on the median nerve as it travels through the carpal tunnel in the wrist.
Nerve irritation in the neck can sometimes produce symptoms into the arm or hand, which is why the source should be evaluated rather than assumed.
Repetitive hand or wrist activity may aggravate symptoms in some people, although the underlying cause and contributing factors can vary.
Some patients notice dropping objects, reduced grip or difficulty with fine hand tasks. Progressive weakness warrants appropriate evaluation.
